This intensive three day course covers the most important SQL Server administration concepts and techniques that are useful for SharePoint administrators.

Material applicable to both SQL Server 2005 and 2008 is provided and enhancements only available in 2008 are clearly identified.

Prerequisites

Before attending this course, it is recommended that students have the following skills:

Understanding of database concepts
Basic knowledge of SharePoint administration

While not a prerequisite, attendees would find some existing knowledge of the T-SQL language would be useful. This could be obtained by attending our Writing T-SQL Queries course.
